We take the protection of your personal data seriously. The following statement explains what data we process, when and for what purpose.
The server stores the following data in log files when this site is loaded:
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stability of the service). Storage period: max. 30 days.
If you subscribe to our launch newsletter we store your email address and selected language. The data is used solely to notify you of the app launch and major updates. No data is passed on to third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) a GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or writing to hello@loconio.app.
Maps are delivered via OpenStreetMap (map data) and CartoDB (tile server). Your IP address is transmitted to these providers when a map is displayed.
When you tap a "Buy tickets" link in the app, we may route you to the destination via an affiliate network (Awin, Eventbrite, GetYourGuide). A tracking cookie is set so a later purchase can be attributed to our account. There is no additional cost for you and no additional personal data is transmitted to us – we receive only aggregated statistics.

The Loconio app processes the following data locally on your device:
When you press the location button ("Where am I?") the app requests your GPS position once via the operating system. The coordinates are used locally to display the map only and are not transmitted to us.
If you register as an organizer we store your name, email address, password hash and optionally company name as well as event data submitted and ID verification documents. This data is necessary to perform the contract (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). Storage period: while your account exists plus statutory retention periods.

Our servers are located in Germany / EU. No transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA takes place, except for the third-party services mentioned in sections 5 and 6.
